Stunning bargain antique rose cut diamond with 3ct spread
Proudly presenting a quite magnificent and a super bargain, unusual ladies diamond ring.
The diamond itself is certainly antique, probably circa 1880-1900 (Dutch or English) and is a fine Rose cut diamond and typcially foil backed.
Without removing the diamond its impossible to tell its exact weight. However, measuring the diamond it spreads approximately 3cts in size which makes it a large and impressive piece.
The centre stone is typical Victorian quality and these old cuts from the period cannot be compared with today's modern brilliant cut counterparts. Its really quite difficult to give this diamond a grading in modern day terms.
I prefer to give it an honest and 'over harsh' verdict to leave any potential owners fully aware of the difference between modern and antique diamonds...
I would describe this diamond as white colour to the eye, with a hint of yellow, it has inclusions, sparkles nicely, looks super impressive and is large!
Ring size is approximately M (UK) or 6.5 (US) and can be re-sized if required. Diamond measures approximately 9mm in diameter and sits quite high from the mount.
The mount is certainly much later than the diamond and is white metal, white gold or possibly Silver.
Those that follow and appreciate Antique jewellery will already understand my terms and description but I feel it important to try and describe this as honestly as possible for those who are not familiar with antique jewellery.
A truly remarkable piece offered at a bargain price and a superb investment in every way.
Seven day money back guarantee, insurance valuation supplied for twice the sale amount and personal viewing is always welcome by appointment.
